At least in Canada, if your donation through the Air Moses Mascot Basketball shirt What’s more,I will buy this till is over a certain monetary threshold you can personally write it off. Save the receipt and put it in with your own tax returns. We donate directly to local charities, with no ‘middle-man’ company between us that probably uses our donation as a tax write-off for themselves. Am I cynical? Yes. But I still donate directly. Donating to a major corporation is handing them money for a tax write-off and PR bragging rights that they donated X million dollars to the charity best rated by their focus group. And you probably don’t want to know how the chosen charity handles your donation. You don’t know what the donation was for? If it was an independent liquor store it might be for something like an employee’s kid sick with brain cancer, or a funeral for an employee.

So I’m obligated to donate because a kid has brain cancer or an employee died? Did you just install the Air Moses Mascot Basketball shirt What’s more,I will buy this first stop light in town too? You can insert any circumstance into any situation. It’s still ridiculous to react in that way. Maybe my kid has brain cancer or my fellow employee died and I just need a 6 pack… Just as retail employees are instructed to ask every customer if they found everything they needed, if they want to join the savings program, if they want to apply for a credit card, etc. These tactics have yielded results. And the donation program has been wildly popular, and since it’s such an easy thing to do they’d be crazy not to do it. They ask every customer because they expect most customers to say no. To me the newest thing is people getting angry or feeling guilty about saying no. The person at the counter is pressured by their sales team to pitch it, so put yourself in their shoes for a second. They are required to ask and required to report on why they’re not getting anyone to donate/sign up.
