If I walked up to someone and said “there’s nothing you can do, but I’m suffering and I merely want to know that you know I’m suffering,” I have asked them to dismiss me. From what I’ve seen people who are curious, talk about the Air Force Falcons 2023 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl Champions gloves shirt and I will buy this issue in depth, and address the emotions usually then go on to fix the superficial problem as well If we are talking about issues in depth, and the issue isn’t the laundry, but some other emotional state, then obviously the laundry isn’t the issue to fix, it’s just the ice-breaker. But if the “depth” is merely that “I’m enduring sensations right now,” then either those emotions are predicated in external reality, or they are not. If they are, then the external triggers can be addressed. If they are not, then one is responsible for their own expressions.

Most people I know aren’t masterminds who know exactly what the Air Force Falcons 2023 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl Champions gloves shirt and I will buy this bottom of their feeling iceberg is and need to talk through the issue to explore what they are actually feeling. Why aren’t you willing to help someone work through complicated feelings? People who talk through issues aren’t doing nothing so it would be inaccurate to them them “there’s nothing you can do for me.” People who listen and then act on the full iceberg are doing way more than just fixing the surface level. Feelings can be connected to multiple things. Maybe you are super compartmentalized but most people I know have emotions that connected to a wide variety of physical, social, and psychological factors. At times in my life I had emotions connected to dirty dishes, gender expression, money issues, and division of labor. I wasn’t able to just say what the problem was in one complete sentence but needed to talk through the issues and now almost none of those things are weighing issues on me! But had my partner just gotten up and cleaned the dishes when I brought up, “Ugh, there’s always dirty dishes” then maybe we’d still not see eye to eye on the whole iceberg. One doesn’t need to be a mastermind to think: “I recognize I’m feeling something, what is it, what has happened lately, okay laundry is in my head, am I mad that there are no clean clothes, no, am I mad that there’s a mess, maybe, why am I mad about the mess, could it be X, that sounds plausible, is it justified that I should be upset about X, if no, then perhaps I’m just feeling anxious, if that sounds plausible then will recognition help soothe me, if no, then perhaps I should warn my partner so they don’t misread me.”
