I think most people these days have some category of authority figure they don’t respect because their trust has been so thoroughly violated by them. For me, it’s family court judges. My trust in “authority figures” has been broken in actual personal events by family, religious leaders, school faculty, police and judges, and employers. Pretty much anyone who seeks out authority is gonna be an actual POS. Ah yes, 2023. If she had any confidence in police, she’d believe they wouldn’t kill her goat because she’s in the right, and the police really don’t even have a reason to kill her goat in the first place, it isn’t out doing crime.
