So, I am the one that people come to with these problems to fix. I have no idea why the photographer would EVER darken the eyebrows of a BABY. Like WHY. I always tell people to ask the photographer to rework the photos. They have the raw files to work with! When you look for a photographer, always look at what type of photos they take. Don’t hire a wedding photographer to do newborn photography. Newborn photography is a specialty that requires an amazing skill and passion. I can do family shoots, but not a baby. Also, look for their editing style. The colors, are they warmer, cooler, desaturated, saturated, etc. Do they include retouching? Removal of wrinkles on clothes or unimportant objects like trash, bags. Do you happen to know what the photo shoot cost was? I recently had a friend do our baby pics and they only charged us 60 dollars.

There is a reddit sub which might be able to help you, think it’s photoshoprequests…sorry on my phone and in huge rush, didn’t wanna forget. They can take multiple photos and combine, eg take your face from one you like and put in another where baby is looking great but you are blinking. You might be able to salvage something. You can take him to small claims court for misrepresenting his ability with children and photography if he’s not going to stand by his work. But did he misrepresent his ability to work with children? (We don’t know!) If he said he has lots of experience and it turns out he didn’t, sure that could be an argument. But this is a lesson in “I should have learned what what to ask” (OP didn’t ask about their experience with babies) and what to look for in photographers. You might get lucky like I did.
