This isn’t even a terrible thing, cooking isn’t an essential skill nowadays. Sure it’s better to know how to cook than not but with how available fast food and frozen food is there’s no practical reason to learn how to cook beyond for fun/better tasting food. Not cleaning up after himself is a fair complaint and you should be upset at that but if i(as a guy) broke up with my girlfriend who can’t work on cars because she fucked up while working on a car after i told her to and didn’t help then there would be a whole lot of people saying I’m in the yo gabba gabba characters Classic T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this wrong and i should have expected her to fuck up. Maybe there’s other stuff going on that caused you to break up with him, in which case this post is purposely or accidentally misleading about the reason for you break up. He was a man-child, plain and simple. You already have kids no need to date one. You did the right thing, it’s not hard to put in the effort especially if you bought it for him. I can’t cook but I can at least try especially if it comes with a recipe. Good for you, you’ll find a real man ??

Based on the yo gabba gabba characters Classic T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this description of the post-attempt kitchen are you sure it isn’t “he can’t read” rather than “he can’t cook?” Inability to do some basic cooking is literally not being able to read at a 3rd grade level 5 step directions and pay attention to something for 15 minutes. M52 here. He didn’t want to know how to cook. I wanted to punch myself in the dick just reading this. Christ no, you were right to kick him out. You made the right decision. He wants you to be his mother, not his girlfriend. That’s not healthy in the long run. Nah dude is a loser obviously and his mommy has been feeding him all his life. That would be understandable if he was 12, but a grown ass man? Maybe my perception is a little off given that I’m actually a good cook and I cook for my wife amd i almost every night (she cleans, I cook, we both work full time)….. but to not be able to make even simple things? Nah, that is immaturity and refusal. Besides, you have every right to decide you don’t want to be with someone who cannot take care of themselves. That is your prerogative. I will say though that “get your useless ass out my house” was probably a bit over the top and you could have handled that better, even if the end result was the same. But I think your fundamental motivation is fine.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
