You’re trying to attribute meditation as the sole cause for his suicide. Who knows where his mind went during his meditations, but Avicii had serious, serious problems that likely played a large part in his suicide. You’re right, my bad. Once I healed from that neither bothered me that much. But yes in the beginning I had flashbacks to painful memories. So I would stop meditation. Go do something nice for myself. Though we never know exactly what drives people into taking their own lives, Avicii had so many struggles and was subjected to enormous pressure. He was actually an introvert who didn’t enjoy performing (it gave him massive panic attacks), and wanted to work strictly as a composer. He wasn’t interested in fame and a lavish life style, he just wanted to make music. But as somebody said, loads of people were economically dependant on him and pushed him into a grueling tour schedule, including gigging straight out of hospital with no time to heal. He ended up being terribly lonely since all of his friends basically also worked for him. You never know what pushes people over the edge, but in this case it is also the story of an immensely talented and sensitive introvert, who pretty much was pushed far beyond his limits at a very formative age. Speculating about root causes is futile, but Avicii had a very tough life. When it comes to meditation, I seriously doubt that there is some elusive destructive power to be released just like that, out of the blue.
