Imagine a junior thats only worked remotely for 2yrs. vs someone hats been physically present – the Yellowstone est 1886 Dutton Ranch Muntana Shirt But I will love this remote worker would be severely disadvantaged and left behind. WFH is largely a fantasy that doesn’t live up to its lofty promises. Just like the “paperless office”, 3D televisions, ….and hoverboards. I wish that was the case for me. I hate working from home. It’s so difficult to concentrate. My wife thinks I’m on vacation and constantly wants me to do things and my kids as well. As much as I’d love to spend time with them, it unfortunately doesn’t work that way. Envious of those that can make it work though. It would be amazing. Working in the office is better if everyone worked in the same location. However with big tech companies they have some people working remotely on any given day and then other teammates working from a different state or country. When the team is mixed up like this, it’s better to just have everyone wfh Thats total bs. There are a lot of downsides to work from home. While I agree it has its place. There are still reasons to be in the office. Too many for me to even list on my cell phone. This is false in management POV, because management just paid a lot to add heaters, HVAC to the business office, remodel the lunch room with new appliances everybody must come in. What a dumb thing to post about something so subjective. I definitely get less work done when I have immediate access to elden ring and a dog begging for play time

I’m glad we are all exactly the Yellowstone est 1886 Dutton Ranch Muntana Shirt But I will love this same and live and work exactly the same, enjoy the same things, find our flow the same way…. This 100% would fuck me over big time. I need other people around me to work well or else shit just doesn’t get done, don’t ask me why. I think the last thing we need as a species is to stay inside by ourselves more. Socializing is a good thing lmao As a Software Development Manager I disagree. However, I do think some jobs can work well with being full time remote. Talking to someone in person is the most effective way of communicating. Therefore saying a blanket statement like ‘It’s Official’ is ridiculous. I totally believe the website “interesting engineering” over a blind market that seeks profit and would demand workers stay home if it meant an increase in profits or productivity.
