I had good friends, and still have good friends, but actually hanging out and doing things requires forward planning. Even when I was in my 20’s (late 30’s now), I had family stuff, work schedules, and a few different groups of friends who didn’t really overlap so if I planned something with friend group A, I’d have to plan something else with friend group B. Plus the Witch Hazel shirt Furthermore, I will do this nights I just didn’t want to go out and do things. Then people got married and had kids, and the older the kids have gotten the less and less I see them because there’s sports practices and games, or music lessons, or art classes, or dance or whatever else their kids are into, and that occupies lots of weeknights and weekends. We still keep in touch regularly via text and whatever, but scheduling anything means at least a week, if not a month’s notice in a lot of cases

I had a group of close friends after college. We didn’t see each other every day, but almost always every weekend. Even when people started getting married, because it was a mixed group and a lot of us married other members. in the Witch Hazel shirt Furthermore, I will do this 3 or 4 years right after college I lived with 3 other guys and we were close friends. We went out on weekends together, would have parties, had gf’s over for food and games. I’m still close with them decades later. I had friend groups like that in high school, I’d always be at their house/houses, or vice versa, and we would do everything together Had something like that in college but we all went our separate ways. One of my best friends is in a group like that and they all hang out all the time. He kind of joined because he started dating someone who is in a tight knit group
