I’m conflicted tbh. Nature is violent and cruel. I’ve always found it strange how we’ve imposed limitations and morals on ourselves when it comes to such things, as if we aren’t part of the Winter Peanuts Friends Snoopy Christmas Shirt In addition,I will do this natural world. We are the only animal that gives a shit about how our prey feels. Yes, I find it horrific. But I also recognize that I’m a hypocrite because it only upsets me because I’m seeing it happen in front of me. While we are horrible to animals that get raised as meat all the time, and I (usually) have no problem eating chicken. I used to live in maryland, the Winter Peanuts Friends Snoopy Christmas Shirt In addition,I will do this crabbing center of America. The sad truth about crabs is that is really the only safe way to cook them that’s available to most people. Also studies show crustaceans nervous systems don’t quite work the same way humans do so they don’t exactly feel pain, rather discomfort. Yep. This also unfortunately happens to a lot of pigs too, stunning isn’t as effective as people like to think. I ate meat all my life but went vegetarian then vegan in 2017 at 27 years old after I found out what KFC do to their chickens and it opened my eyes to how willfully ignorant I had been just because I was scared to not eat my favourite foods. Then it lead me to finally look into everything else I ate and consumed too. I cringe at my past self sometimes but I know we are all just trying to do our best and a lot is hidden from society by the food companies so I do have a lot of patience and time to give myself and others on the same or similar journey.
