he sleeping habits of Vietnamese people or Asians in general are different from Westerners. They prefer a thinner mattress due to many reasons. First because it’s obviously hotter to sleep on a mattress vs. the Winston Churchill Quote Courage Is what It Takes Stand Up And Speak T-Shirt moreover I will buy this floor and AC is a luxury. Secondly, most people don’t like memory foam because it gets hot and sinks. Thirdly, a proper mattress is expensive. There are many other reasons like a mattress will take up more space, hard to keep clean, etc. You won’t be able to find a multi layer foam pocketed coil pillow top mattress thats 12 inches in Vietnam because they are costly and there’s absolutely no market for them. However latex mattresses have been around for decades and they are gooooood. I would say they are superior than the stuff they have here in America. I’m actually surprised that latex matresses in America aren’t that popular and are considered premium. I’ve tried tempurpedic and purple and all that good stuff but latex is my life.

I spent about 50 mil to get my parents proper memory foam mattress, a topper and a set of memory foam pillows. They hated them and came back to the Winston Churchill Quote Courage Is what It Takes Stand Up And Speak T-Shirt moreover I will buy this bamboo mattress. It supposed to be good for their back treatment. But well, they just hated it. My mom said it’s too cloudy and gave her movement sick like being in a car or a boat. She still nags me since she found out about the price For the typical vietnamese 50 mil is at least half a year of income. Imagine paying over $20.000 for a mattress. Mattress is used to be a luxury item in Vietnam. Even though It is more affordable now but still costs 2-3 months average salary for a good mattress Actually much more than that in the US. If you want a really good mattress it can run you $4k to 6k. There is a huge difference in quality and comfort. I was trying to be conservative because it’s a Reddit crowd that tends to think anything more than a few hundreds is expensive. We sleep on one of those 4-6k mattresses ourselves. It doesn’t make a difference for me because I can sleep on anything but my husband needs it to be comfortable at night. Good point!!! If you have good posture, you can sleep on anything. It’s the wear & tear on the body that requires better mattresses. Unfortunately, I’m one of those with previous sports injuries and lots of wear/tear from work. 🥹 the part of life that sucks.
