Do you agree with them because it does, in fact, suck? And likely get fired. Or do you use your common sense and say something like “it can be a difficult job, but it’s very rewarding helping customers!” Or some such nonsense. It’s not entirely true, or entirely false. You might even call it a “little white lie”. It’s harmless and spares everyone’s feelings and makes everyone happy. That’s what tact is. I guarantee you’ve done this before.
