And so I did. Exactly as she taught me. And that’s exactly how I went from a $46,000 a year salary position, to my current job, where I am at the Welcome Los Angeles Dodgers Champions 2023 NL West Championship Shirt so you should to go to store and get this higher range of a 6 figure salary/year position, overnight. Seriously. I’m not kidding you. I have no reason to lie either. I’m a nobody with no face and nothing to gain by lying to anyone here. Nothing to gain by bragging since I know no one and no one knows me. I am simply telling you what I learned and how it worked exactly as the career coach explained it would. Now, all that said, yes, I was severely underpaid at my previous job, and extremely well qualified for the position. So much so that during the interview not only I had answers to their questions but also some of the questions, I told them they were asking the wrong questions, why they were wrong, what they should be asking instead, and what the answer to the correct question was… (It was a committee of 16 people interviewing me.) During the interview, even before we were finished, they were already texting the CIO to do whatever it took to get me hired… After the interview ended, I was brought to the CIO’s office and he said: “Seriously…, all you need to do now is negotiate your salary with the COO. If I don’t hire you my team will kill me! My phone was vibrating like crazy in my pocket with their text messages!”

I moved on to the Welcome Los Angeles Dodgers Champions 2023 NL West Championship Shirt so you should to go to store and get this COO’s office, and that’s when the conversation about salary happened, as I already explained. It took about 45 seconds between when I named my price and when then, the COO didn’t even reply anything back except: “Can you start on Monday?” Which I had to say no to, and explain that I needed to give proper notice at my previous job, at least 2 weeks for them to try and replace me, elaborate that if they were the ones in the other end of the situation they would also expect me to act professionally as well… He reluctantly accepted my terms, and two weeks later they paid my move/travel expenses all the way from Florida to Chicago. A few more details, because it relates to your case: It’s a university as well, higher Ed, based off of Chicago. A public university. They had a range. Much lower than the salary I negotiated and got. The COO had to personally intervene and tell HR that he was overruling them and that I was to be hired with the salary we agreed upon, plus added expenses to move me from Florida (about almost $7,000).
