Anyways this rant is getting away from me big time, but the We The People It Doesn’t Need To Be Rewritten It Needs To Be Reread 1776 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this main point is that corporations are not the infallible efficient machines that marketing and cultivated public images would like you to believe. There is lots of waste and bloat and terrible decisions made to try to capture “value” that may not even exist, but people are too scared or disincentivized to even try to examine whether it exists and so they sprint towards it anyways. This is my most cynical take on it but likely shaped partially because I’m in a bad mood right now and feeling bitter. Some things, like clothing, are better to choose in person. Physical bookstores are good for browsing, socializing and in the case of better ones, getting recommendations We should start some kind of physical book store with an Amazon prime-like membership but instead of buying the books you just rent them, but at no extra cost. Just give them back when you’re done. I guess like Netflix, but for books? Idk I’ll have to figure out the kinks but that would really revolutionize the book business.

As someone who spent a lot of time in bookstores in the We The People It Doesn’t Need To Be Rewritten It Needs To Be Reread 1776 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, i much prefer browsing for books online. I can actually see a much better selection of books online than i ever found in a bookstore. I’m not stuck only knowing about the books that the bookstores actually carried. I actually like the Amazon Fresh store because their store brands are pretty good, have huge selections of certain items (20 kinds of ketchup) and have good hot food items. And some stuff on sale are good deals. Or you buy clothing like my lil sister, buy 20 sets of clothing online and send 19 of those back to the other side of the globe when they arrive cause you don’t like them after all. I don’t remember what store it was, but sometime ago I was shopping online and the pictures had the weight and height of the person modeling the clothes and the size they’re wearing, and they had one model each for the three common sizes, like off you chose medium the model changed, it was really cool.
