I’m curious what you signed up for, like what kind of package was offered, and what were you expecting out of it. Most studio portrait sessions involve a fee based on time for the We Been On Since 1963 Iota Phi Theta Paraphernalia T-Shirt also I will do this photography, and then an additional fee for each of the photos you select to cover the cost of post-processing, printing, etc. From a standard studio portrait session, 10 to 15 good photos is kind of average, there tends to be a lot of duds and in the day of digital photography photographers end up taking tons of photos because they can, but then selecting a handful of the best as the final product. Without knowing the details of the arrangements you made for the shoot, my first thought is that 15 good photos is reasonable, but I don’t know why they also sent a hundred bad ones. On the other hand, if they charged you post-processing fees for all of the bad photos then that’s inappropriate.

We Been On Since 1963 Iota Phi Theta Paraphernalia T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Exactly. At first glance it seems like the We Been On Since 1963 Iota Phi Theta Paraphernalia T-Shirt also I will do this real mistake was in providing the 100 bad photos. This is not standard. Maybe it was done as a courtesy to provide “bloopers” and is being misinterpreted. But as you said, without knowing the details of the arrangement with a photographer it’s hard to assess whether or not what happened was appropriate. If you don’t want to pursue it with them further you could just wash your hands of it, chalk it up to lesson leaned, and book a shoot when your baby is the adorable squishy age of 8-10 months. We did this and it was the best. I’m sorry you don’t have your newborn shots but maybe one day you’ll look back and laugh at this also, from one ppd mom to another – never let anyone keep you from your crying baby if you want to respond to them. You’re doing so great and I’m cheering you on.
