My productivity was low to begin with because I hated my job. Remote work allowed me to not look directly at those who made my job miserable. What about everyone that worked at the Vietnam veteran us flag gift Vietnam veteran shirt in contrast I will get this office before hand WILL THEY GET THEIR TIME BACK? (btw I’m being sarcastic in reference to student loan debt) A lot of my job is being available to take calls from clients. I can get most of my mandatory work done in 3-4 hours which leaves my afternoons open for client contact. Now we’re doing 2 weeks at home and a week in the office. Those weeks in the office I’ve had less client contacts than any other week when I’ve been at home. It’s a stretch to get most of the mandatory work done which leaves less time for being available for clients

I work a software engineering job and I’m more productive at home. I think when people were figuring out the Vietnam veteran us flag gift Vietnam veteran shirt in contrast I will get this work from home thing productivity might have gone down a little bit after 2 years, people are productive at home. It’s staggering how much less productive I am at the office. Walking to meetings, longer lunches. People arrive and leave at different time due to kids stuff. I used to have meetings until 5:30pm but now anything after 4pm has a high chance of being cancelled because people commute. I would have my work hours set from 8am to 6pm (10h) but use some time during the day to so boring stuff like the dentist or fun stuff like lunch with my wife or just some shopping. Now my calendar says 9am to 4pm because I need to commute. I spend less time working and I have less time to do personal stuff. It’s lose-lose. I finished all my work for the day. I took a nap for 30 minutes and missed an email from my supervisor asking where I was (It was my scheduled wfh day).
