This is actually not true. not reading the Us navy Vietnam veteran usa flag Vietnam veteran shirt also I will do this article, but I have seen the figures and only in very specific circumstance does it not effect productivity. I am easily the most productive writer on my crew and I have never set foot in my office OR met my coworkers in the meatspace. I work in IT, I’ve just come back to it after a few years in other work and later unemployed due to mental health issues. If I want to have a cigarette after a stressful/long call I can without having to wait for my break and spend my whole break getting in and out of the office. If I had to pay even £1 for each coffee I drink during the day it’d be a significant chunk of my earnings for the day. The only downside is I live in rural Scotland so sometimes the call quality goes to shit when I google something. Well, that and sometimes users ask why they can hear cats meowing. Please. While some people can certainly be productive at home, the amount of people I know who are “working” from home are actually doing everything but … they go golf, ski, and who knows what else in the middle of the day when they should be working, and then do the bare minimum moving their mouse around to game the system of “productivity”. It’s no shit that bosses want some people back in the office, because there’s enough slackers out there that are very unproductive at home and it shows in their output.

IMO while I support working from home, you’ve got to prove you are disciplined enough to do it effectively or your boss has every right to ask you back to the Us navy Vietnam veteran usa flag Vietnam veteran shirt also I will do this office. I totally agree with you that some people take advantage of this. It can also be seen as an opportunity to have a life whilst working. If I were a boss and my staff’s productivity was at par or better, why would I complain. Ngl I don’t believe this lol. I work from hone 2 days a week and I’m just playing video games most of the time. I go into the office to do 95% of my work. Remote work has a 20x negative impact on my productivity, and my health. I get more done in a workplace – I need that separation. As do many people with ADHD. Home is for not doing work things – and that’s a decades long habit that I can’t unwind.
