My biggest problem is they won’t take any PTO and when I tell them they should as it’s a benefit they should for real use they said they really don’t feel the Universal monsters legends collide halloween horror nights movie classic shirt and I love this need to since they are home and are way less stressed then before. We don’t pay out unused PTO and only roll over a week of unused to the following year capped at 8 weeks yet last year I had over half my staff turn in over 150 hours of PTO and not a single person who used it all except for me and one of my Lead developers who’s a few years younger than me. I still have to go in every once and a while for board meetings and one on ones with our CIO but I have come to really enjoy the work from home for the peace and quiet it offers as well as the use of my own bathroom and control of the HVAC instead of having to battle the office women who like things roasting in the winter and in the summer as well. Couldn’t escape the heatmizer BA core who are mostly women and surrounded the thermostat ?

Woohoo increased productivity is what’s important! Money, money, money for everyone that can all be spent on mental health care and stress relief measures for staff. Win/win I think it depends on the Universal monsters legends collide halloween horror nights movie classic shirt and I love this person. Personally I get nothing done when I do school online, and I’m a straight A student in-person maybe if your job sucks (read: most workplaces and professions), but when you work at a literal disneyland workplace like faang it is significantly better to go in office imo free food, free gym, free beer, free socializing and offsites, idk why anyone would prefer remote over all of that (and the time and effort savings those come with) I’m way less productive at home. Remote work is great for society as a whole, but I get way less done. I know plenty of people who are just as, or more productive at home than at work though. Just not me. If your work is being done remotely, it’s only a short time before it’s offshored, done by third party wage slaves. I worked with people on premise and remotely for years long before the pandemic, in software development and services; there’s no replacing face to face meetings with leadership and colleagues. I love working from home, but being honest, there is no way this is true. The difference is at work you tend to be productive. At home you just get done what you absolutely need to get done and that’s it.
