I’ll obsess over anything, and if work is the Unique Philadelphia City Heart Shape 2023 Shirt and by the same token and only thing that fills my time, I’ll obsess over it. Hobbies that aren’t even in the same realm as work can be a great way to give your brain something else to think about. I sometimes think about work when I’m not working, like in the shower or something, but it’s not as intense as you describe. I get some good ideas that way so I don’t think it’s a bad thing. However, endless thinking without a purpose (“ruminating”) is stressful and a waste of mental energy. You could try meditating although that’s a complicated subject. The other thing that will probably happen is that eventually you will let some deadlines slip and realize that you didn’t get fired. After a few years, this will probably have happened several times and you’ll just internalize the knowledge that this bad thing isn’t really that bad.

One thing to keep in mind is that ur boss/manager most likely isn’t going to know exactly how long your tasks will take or how difficult they are. They’re most likely not in engineering mode. If you say it’ll take x amount of days, and it’ll be a harder task than normal. They’ll most likely believe you I like to think of the Unique Philadelphia City Heart Shape 2023 Shirt and by the same token and impact that the bug has on the company *right now*… Honestly most of the time is has zero impact. You could fix it tomorrow or next month, same shit. Keep a journal. Make a plan for the week. Make a plan for the day. Write down the things you’ve done to execute on that plan, and any learning that came out of it. At the end of the day, close the journal and go for a walk. Unfortunately people like you will waste their lives submitting to corporate America (or wherever) as a pawn, sacrificing health, family, friends and other passions that could have been found, only to realize these companies dont give a single flying f about you, you wasted half of your life, and now you’re in your 40s-50s in poor health, crippling family status, little-no friends and other interests/hobbies/passions, and you regret everything
