What helps for me is to write down these things. A big part of me obsessing over things was due to me believing I’d forget about X or Y and that I forgot to consider Z. Writing it down helps me with letting it go until the Trump Xxxtrumptacion Presiden mugshot Shirt in contrast I will get this next day/week/whatever. I’m gonna say that this will mostly go away with experience for for you. I do still sometimes wake up at 4am with an idea for how to solve a hard problem or find myself coding in my head on off hours. But… most professional problems aren’t THAT hard. They get solved during work hours or it’s fixing stuff similar to other stuff you’ve seen before. It’s not all novel problems all the time. So they don’t preoccupy me when the workday is done. You probably also get better at compartmentalizing.

I think this never totally goes away, but it does get to be a lot less than what it sounds like you are experiencing as someone new to the Trump Xxxtrumptacion Presiden mugshot Shirt in contrast I will get this job with imposter syndrome. Just trust you will get more confident and skilled over time. Not sure if it will help you but I set an alarm for 6pm. At 6 I write down a list of what I did that day and a to do list for the next day. It can help you feel more accomplished- even if you didn’t figure out a bug, you tried some things to figure it out. And it’s written down your brain doesn’t have to worry about retaining it. Also boom you have your list of what to say in standup tomorrow You could also channel some of that energy into side projects or personal projects. Work on some open source stuff or create your own. You might love your work now but all that can chamge at the blink of an eye so dont get too attached. We are just temporary in the long-run. Get some hobbies and pursue them. I’m much more worried about the 145 miles I have to ride in a bicycle in two weeks than anything going on at work, and there’s a lot going on at work!
