Does your brother live in one of those proverbial “one stoplight” towns? Weird, I just buy one ticket and get the Underground kingz super tight shirt in addition I really love this entire theatre for myself, since nobody else goes to movies. It’s 2024, why would you waste money on a cinema when you can have a home cinema for pennies and just pirate the movie in 4K. For $2000, guess what? He could have used all that cash to build a home theatre in his basement so he can watch as many films as he wants by himself. The pay gap between the rich and the poor in this country is crazy. There are apparently people who can waste thousands of dollars on bullshit, while at the other end, we have people who can’t afford to buy dinner or rent a home for themselves. And people like this are actually proud of wasting money like this?! I don’t think this guy even has an actual reason to need to watch the Star Wars premiere by himself. I might start to get it if he had like a mental illness or some kind of auditory disorder or something, but even then wasting $2000 on tickets is crazy. I spent $100 for a Valentine’s Day date with my ex to watch the first Spiderverse movie. Granted it had been out for a while, but still lol. We knew we would like it. That’s the only way I could justify spending for a hundred dollar ticket lol Or you can just get seated then once inside go to the app and leave seats around you in the cart to prevent people from buying them.
