My manager thought it would be a fun bonding activity to take a bunch of us in the store to see the premier. What we didn’t know was that the store was sent a screener DVD by accident. We somehow ha the movie before it came out in theaters (I’m not even sure how that happens). When we all went to the premier, one of the employees put it on the overhead monitors. We found out about it later because apparently it was a big draw for the store. They had like 50 people standing around watching the movie (who purchased drinks, snacks, other movies, etc). SOMEHOW he didn’t get fired and we didn’t get slapped with the biggest lawsuit in movie history. I’m still surprised nothing happened.

What theater has a 218 seat auditorium. Where? I get total theater capacity there but I haven’t been to one with an max auditorium occupancy of 120 in over a decade. That one guy isn’t buying a theatre’s worth of candy and popcorn. If he would’ve waited one more week and gone on a Monday or Tuesday early in the afternoon, it probably would’ve been empty or at most 2 or 3 people there and he could’ve saved the money. Or you could go to the theater by my house floors are sticky but half the time its empty or has like 1 person in there.
