The handicapped row is preferred I always find the best seats involve the wind in my hair aboard my favorite sailing vessel whilst procuring goods through less-than-government-sanctioned means. Ehh, then films might try to boost their numbers by discounting movies after they have been in theaters for a while. I remember the first time I went to a discount theater and couldn’t believe they were only charging me $2 for a movie. I was like what’s the catch? Uncomfortable seats were the catch. Yep! I saw Rogue One in one of those theaters. Tickets and concessions were cheap as shit — it was like, a dollar for a soda — but the chairs might as well have been some of those folding metal chairs you bring up from the basement when you’ve got a seating emergency. It was still a great time, especially for the price, but I had to stand up and pace a bit in the aisle halfway through because ass pain and sleepy legs. I don’t have an issue with “variable pricing” per se, but it’s rarely about giving a discount for the less desirable things, only demanding a premium for the more desirable.
