We had a potential employee 2 months out of college interview for a role where the range was stated $55k – $85k, and they were taken aback when they got offered $55k stating they expected something in the middle… the middle would have been for someone with experience, they literally had none and didn’t understand why they were offered on the low end of the range. All that to say, for all we know the 106 was the right side of the range and maybe this person didn’t qualify based on experience? I don’t know the details, just explaining why the offer may not have been at the amount stated. Now it sounds like OP has a good amount of experience, so I’m also not saying this isn’t just the company being shitty.
