I was in the Twas The Knight Before Christmas shirt moreover I love this shopping centre heading towards Claire’s, where there’s a cashier stood outside the entrance. It was like she was waiting for me or something, it was really weird. But anyway she watched me walk all the way down from the other side of the hall and as soon as I got in she put the shutters down on me and said I’m going to be locked inside while she has her dinner. Why didn’t you say something?! It would’ve been funny but the only time I’ve seen people get locked in stores like that was when I was present during a stabbing spree in another shopping centre so there was a split second there where my heart fell into my actual ass. My grandad took his driving test in the 1960’s. The examiner got him to drive out of the test centre, down the road and take the second turning onto the residential street on the left. About halfway down the street he gets my grandad to pull over and instructs him to wait there. A good 30 minutes pass before he emerges and asks my grandad if he can remember the way back to the test centre. My grandad says yes he does and drives back. The examiner shakes his hand and informs him he has passed his driving test upon their arrival at the test centre. My dad used to drive a bus and would stop at the chippy to pick up his lunch with passengers in board, I was horrified when he told me.

When I was young (like 40 years ago) I used to go into Liverpool on the Twas The Knight Before Christmas shirt moreover I love this bus with my Granddad. The bus drivers had a scheduled break time, so the bus would just stop, and the driver would get out his flask and sandwiches, and have a break (not sure how long, 15 mins perhaps), with a double decker bus full of passengers just waiting for him. Not sure whether or not this is still done. Similar, low stakes story: I was sat near the front a local train when the driver stopped the train, got out of the cab, picked some apples from an tree by the side of the track, got back in and recommenced driving the train like nothing had happened. He filled a white carrier bag. 56 more repliesI was on a very late bus going home one night must have been 11.30pm – 11.45pm there was myself and maybe 4 or 5 others on the bus. The bus driver got to a built up area and stopped the bus,got out,and walked off down a street leaving us on the bus with no lights. This is a long time before mobile phones. About 20 mins went by and the driver didn’t return. One guy on the bus pressed the emergency door button and we all got off. A lady rang the police and 15 later a few policemen turned up. Then around 1.00 am the bus company sent another driver. Apparently the bus driver felt sleepy so he radioed the depot and they were waiting for a driver to finish there shift. I’m glad in a way because I wouldn’t like to think what would have happened if he had fell asleep.
