Personally I did not kick my kids out, they went off to college and came home for a bit afterwards until they got on their feet and they left on their own. My kids are welcome to stay until they’re able to move out. I’m not sure where you got this information from or why you thought your fairytale was worth investing effort into, but we have a lot of family values in the Trump and Hansel and Derek Zoolander rigged election call that blue steel shirt Also,I will get this US. I’d suggest doing some research outside of social media. You might find answers that are accurate and avoid seeming gullible. This is the most ridiculous accusation/question I’ve seen on Reddit, and I’ve seen some doozies, MOST parents don’t. Ha ha, WTF did you get that idea?? My s0n went to University to get his Bachelors degree for six years! He might not have been IN the house, but we paid for everything, and frankly still do. Lol American parents are mad at the job they did raising their kids and view it as tuff love. It’s not, it’s selfishness. I’m late 30s and grew up upper middle class in Texas. For a lot of us, it was expected that we would move out when we started our freshmen year of college, because we would be moving into a dorm or student housing. Not everyone did this, but the majority of my friends who didn’t, ended up moving out of their parents homes with roommates within a year or two. We all just kind of wanted out of our parents home and wanted our independence. It wasn’t so much the parents pushing us out, as that we had social expectations we wanted to meet. I’m not sure what the norm is now, but I have a 19 year old and 18 year old. They both still live at home. My 19 year old just started working full time bc my rule is you get one year off and then you either attend college classes or work if you want to live at home rent free once you graduate high school.

Our culture treats people like they have to kick them out of the Trump and Hansel and Derek Zoolander rigged election call that blue steel shirt Also,I will get this nest like it makes them work harder and teaches responsibility. All it does it make sure we can’t get ahead like how rich people do. Helping your children get ahead should be how we all work.. In a lot of poverty stricken homes, you will be stuck at home, because your parents can’t afford to survive without you. Some kids leave because they want the independence and some get to stay until they are ready. However, some are expected to leave because the parents feel like they have done their job and are ready to “resume” their lives again. They’d probably want you out if you could no longer follow their rules or contribute to the household. The teen years are hard on parents’ nerves for sure. Well the vast majority of Americans don’t kick their kids out at 18. However there are people that do. But if you took a moment and took a survey of people under 18 and ask what they want to do with their life most of the guys will say I want to be a streamer. Or a YouTube star. Or an influencer. .. so realistically they don’t want to get a real job that pays bills Probably for the “same reasons” (some) Venezuelans kicked them OUT to 1) Grow up 2) To help get the family some monetary income to raise other children. 3) To get divorced and to sell the house where they once grew (there are more reasons to “kick” (SOME) children out. My children all know they can live at home as long as they need. Oldest son is 23 and married but we have 4 more children. Our three girls (21, 18, and 10) know they have a place here with us as long as needed. We are even building a house in Texas right now with rooms for each of them and their 7 yo youngest brother. It’s the Industrial Revolution warped mindset that expects their kids to move out at 18.
