Someone watched too many youtube videos about Elden Ring for normies. I just straight up murdered him.( I did die a lot though ). I did go to gatefront ruins to explore a bit and got like 2 levels but I immediately came back to this guy First run I beat him after maxing out blasphemous blade and i think i was over rl 80, second run took 20-30 tries as a rl 1 prisoner, and third run i killed him on my third try with a rl 1 vagabond. After my first run i got determined to always try and beat that guy at rl 1

Went off to do other things and remembered I never came back to settle things This was my first souls game…I practiced clearing out the gatefront ruins probably 20-30 times to figure out the mechanics Once I was able to clear out that entire area consistently I basically went back and started from the first steps I beat his ass (15 tries) and went on to go kick margrets ass too (2 tries and I cried on the second one). Then I rage quit at godrick because I was tired after playing for 8 hours. And I did that over and over again until I finally got em I spent the first hour of the network test bashing my head against that wall until it broke, and I did the same at release. There is no “coming back” to him It was funny for me cause I didn’t know that u can pass him lol so I died like 30 times until I kill him and then I realized that I didn’t have to kill him rigjy there lol As soon as I picked up Skeletal Militiaman Ashes, the Meteorite Staff and the Rock Sling spell. That would have been pretty early, before finishing Stormveil.
