I never left in the The Party Don’t Stop & Til I Croc In T-Shirt But I will love this first place. My very first build was faith/strength so I knew I had to have his halberd. A few tries later and the reward was mine, and I don’t regret it one bit. On my first playthrough I fought him once and realised this boss was clearly placed here to teach you to come back later with more levels and better gear. I attempted to do the same thing on my second character, which was a mage, only to discover his shield can parry spells. I decided I’d come back later on that one. My first time killing this tree sentinel was after killing Godrick and took me like 2 dozen attempts. Now for every new playthrough I don’t progress the game until I kill him. I’ve gotten pretty good at this fight that I can somewhat easily kill him as a level 1 wretch with just the club. It’s an incredibly fun fight.

Don’t wait too long, I forgot and came back after the The Party Don’t Stop & Til I Croc In T-Shirt But I will love this raya Lucaria academy and smoked him. Wasn’t that fun at all I keep forgetting to return or even attempt so I end up fighting them for the first time on ng+ like they did something to me. I kinda just ……. Forgot about him and then I got the nox flowing sword and just ran back and forth on torrent til he was dead I killed him right off the bat with my naked club tarnished. Took many many deaths and about 30mins of fighting to kill him but I wasn’t leaving with him still breathing lol I came back just before killing morgott and killed him with a blood stained dagger and used a buckler for quickstep If you start as vagabond he is a joke. All attacks are blockable, poke him with the spear (I think they start with the spear). Elden ring was my first souls game. I beat this guy in like, 15 attempts? I like this boss. He seems fair. You die, try again, remember his attack patterns and get better right at the beginning of the game. I tried a few times when I first met him. Didn’t want to spend all day there, but didn’t want to forget about him either. Came back as soon as I had a horse and that evened the playing field a lot.
