We (the Travis Kelce Kansas City All Time Leading Receiver T-Shirt in addition I really love this internet car community) had a bit of scare over the weekend when a much-loved video maker had a serious mental health episode. Fortunately, he shouted out and the community reached out to him in droves and gave him both practical help and, most importantly, the knowledge that he was not alone in the world. It really, really helped. The only advice I can give you is to also shout out, talk to people and use this community – we’re a friendly bunch, really. Don’t go silent on us or we will hunt you down and be forcibly nice to you 😉 I was self-employed for the best part of 5 years so when I closed my business and started working a 9-5 in 2019, I realised how having the opportunity previously to “take a day off” if I wasn’t feeling it without asking for permission from anyone was so important. Over the last year, my mental health in relation to my work-life balance has felt significantly worse and my employer doesn’t really recognise mental health days as anything more than lost productivity.

I’ve been off work myself a good few years ago with mental health issues and I wish you a healthy recovery. Sounds like you have a good employer that is supportive which is a big bonus. Take care and I’ll be thinking of you today. Sadly I have a lot of understanding with this and I wish you all the Travis Kelce Kansas City All Time Leading Receiver T-Shirt in addition I really love this best. I hope today is easy going & you’re doing okay. I’m getting close to return to work after burn out as well, and nervous as all hell too. We’re going to get there though, be kind to yourself on the first few weeks, phased return is definitely the right way. Side note – have you tried hitting up the DWP Access To Work support? YMMV based on some comments, but the person I’ve personally been working with from Maximus has been grand.
