There’s a Greg Davies set in this. My fave was someone being called Baghdad, because he came to school with a bag his dad bought for him Lad I played football with was nicknamed Lazarus because after the Toothless Cream Shirt Apart from…,I will love this game he would spend half an hour unravelling bandages he had wrapped himself in. Lad from school was caught “stretching” himself on a school trip was he was about 13. The rest of his time in school he was known as Stretch. My old job used to have an ex-employee pop in every now and again who my boss called ‘Richie the fish’ because he had a 3 second memory Two sheds. ‘ I’ve got a shed’ ‘Well I’ve got two’ She had at least double whatever you had and of course it was better. We’ve got a mate called Chris, known him ten years before found out his first name was Christmas not Christopher. Unsurprisingly this revelation came out when we realised he was born on Christmas Day. There was a story in the sun years ago about a wee boy called Drew Peacock, the parents acknowledged how bad it sounded but said they wouldn’t change his name, clearly they resent him and want him to be bullied his entire life So this isn’t mine, but it was posted by someone here the last time we had this thread. It went along the lines of:

There was a lad at school who once crushed a biscuit in his hand so we called him Crumbly Joe. When he married his wife she was known as Crumbly Jane. I am not exaggerating when I say my girlfriend and I bring this up at least once a month and laugh about it until we’re sore. If anyone knows who that was, please tag them so I can thank them. A similar one that might make you laugh – I saw a post saying someone knew a guy nicknamed “biscuit”, until he got hit by a car once and from then on was referred to as “crumbs” Guy I know took a bunch of pills and jumped in the Toothless Cream Shirt Apart from…,I will love this Clyde (Glasgow). Obviously survived and is nick named Ariel after the little mermaid I used to call the oldest guy at work (John Clark) Jurassic Clark, and there was a bloke always making things up called Mike Pye, so obviously he was called Pork. A friend of mine had pins in his leg so I called him Rob O’Cop. Then he tripped over in such a spectacular fashion that he took out half a room and was from then on known as Robzilla. This one made me laugh out loud, and I never usually believe people who say they laugh out loud at reddit comments We had a dai squared in school (David Davies) Then along came another DD who started out as dai squared mach 2. That quickly got shortened to mark. It’s been about 30 years and everyone thinks his name is actually Mark.
