I’m in sixth form and lots of people have acne. However, I think, because of the The Specials an English 2 tone and ska revival band T-Shirt Also,I will get this rise of skin care, makeup, information and acne treatments, less people are getting facial acne and when they do, its easier to treat/ cover up. Skincare is a big thing with teens now, I think I have conversations about what cleansers/ toners/ moisturisers etc. we all use at least once a week. A lot of people I know have really bad back or chest acne though, so it’s definitely still a problem, just not as noticeable as before. Skincare routines have become trendy these days especially for girls so I think it’s just taking better care of their skin tbh Teens have always hated acne so it’s only logical that eventually we learned to manage, treat, prevent and hide it better than we were able to in the past That’s definitely just you. To be honest the acne is one of the first things I spot (pun intended) to differentiate them from 20-somethings.

I’m gonna throw this out there teens seem to be taking better care of them self on average not many drink they go gym and stuff like that but they vape like chimneys so I could just be talking shite I’m a teenager, and when I was 11/12 I had awful acne. I looked like a human Petri dish or something. My mum is a dermatology nurse and so she got me immediately onto roaccutane, and now, I have barely any spots at all, it’s great. But also, teenagers now have generally better diets, we (especially girls) value skincare and maintenance, and the few spots we have we can hide with concealer (some girls cake their entire faces in makeup, which I would argue looks worse than acne, but oh well), and in general, we have better knowledge on how to get rid of acne with medication.
