I know there’s a tendency to find complementary genes attractive. Essentially you’ll find someone attractive if you’d make beautiful (normal) children together. The most obvious example is tall men and short women – or vice versa – are often attracted to one another. There are also some negative personal traits that are positive genetic traits, for example a woman with a strong jaw is seen as unattractive, but her sons will have strong jaws which will make them seem more attractive. The older you get the more that makes sense. remember, there is no accounting department for tastes. everyone has their own thing and not understanding it is not their failing but ours. there is even a genre of hentai (anime porn) called ugly bastard where beautiful women sleep with.. well ugly bastards. if it is a fetish in hentai you can count on it being a thing widespread enough to sell porn. there are endless kinks people have and it isn’t our place to look down on them even if they disgust us. i personally am extremely repulsed by the fetish of puking in other peoples mouths. but i try to just ignore it exists most of the time and hope my future partners never have that fetish 😛 Odd question, I’ve very rarely met someone I thought was “ugly”. Not my type, sure, plenty, but most people are average looking. Idk. I sort of associate the word ugly with being repulsed by someone, and unless they’re covered in poop or have a shitty personality or is Mitch McConnell I don’t think I ever have that strong of a feeling towards someone.
