GenZ is not interested in becoming parents in much larger numbers than before, or at the The Golden Girls 35th Birthday anniversary 1985-2020 signatures shirt in other words I will buy this very least aren’t planning on having more than one or two kids. They see what it’s done to their parents who are broke and tired. It’s not as severe here as it is in Asia because our work culture isn’t as toxic as theirs is — our main issues are financial along with childcare while they’ve got the 996 culture going on plus the toxic competitive academic culture and a fair amount of sexism in relationships). The youth of today are facing a world measurably worse than 40 years ago. The issues stopping people from wanting to have kids have only gotten worse and wider-spread. Why would you imagine different factors to be at play? It’s the same factors, just more-so.

I can’t speak on everything similar between the The Golden Girls 35th Birthday anniversary 1985-2020 signatures shirt in other words I will buy this US and Japan, but as far as population goes the US is actually projected to continue growing for decades. By 2100 the population will supposedly be 400 million. The catch is that much of this will happen through immigration. But the USA has a more recent history of immigration (which we often like to overlook). I think the reason the USA does so well is because it really was a melting pot for decades. I visited my cousin in Tokyo a few months ago who just had a baby. He said the gov help subsidize child care etc for up to 3 kids trying to get ppl to have more kids. They’ll probably just be forced to allow more immigration. There’s no reason to cross one’s arms and stay fucked. But then they’re Japan who knows how long they’ll sink their own country for their pride. It’s a cultural issue and by the time the ones at fault are gone, it’ll be far too late. That country is doomed, unfortunately.
