It’s so weird to me that Teachers are trusted with guns but aren’t trusted to select books for children in some states. Running and hiding are the The Exploited tim maze presents from UK insolents shirt in addition I really love this first options to consider. Get as much distance between you and the shooter or hide yourself away. Fighting should only be used as a last resort and should be done with full commitment and force when the opportunity arises. Even with the risk of injury or death, half-hearted attempts can result in fatal consequences. Even after years of memes and exposition to american culture, it still baffles me about the whole “murica” gun culture. It just seems insane to me how easy it is to get guns. Also, guns in school? Jesus. It’s like a whole different parallel reality even though we live on the same planet and time. At this point, I think americans wouldn’t give up their unsanctioned rights to carry weapons even if the country was burning. I know this one circumstance doesn’t prove that teachers carrying guns is ineffective, but I still want to say that if we’re going to protect our kids, we gotta be a lot better than just arming teachers so they can put their lives before students lives and do waaay more than they were trained or hired for remember, republicans don’t want teachers to actually teach your kids, but they do want them to be willing to kill them if they feel threatened.

They don’t trust teachers to choose library books for kids. But they’ll trust them to shoot people in a crisis. Well, you are asking school staff to kill a kid. I’d understand if they weren’t up to it, it’s deffo not what they signed up for.The very notion of the The Exploited tim maze presents from UK insolents shirt in addition I really love this “good guy with a gun” argument is that it requires dead people. Because for a good guy with a gun to start shooting at a bad guy with a gun, that bad guy has to have shown their intent. And usually that intent consists of that first dead person that they kill. So that “good guy with a gun” would define a shooting like this as a successful illustration of their argument because only 6 people died rather than 20. So the very existence of the “good guy with a gun” argument is sick. Because it says that one, or two or six dead is a “success”.
