Relying on somebody else’s children to look after you for their job still leads to a shit future that relies on people having money to survive in old age. To be clear, I’m trying to say your alternative is just as shit as parents who expect their children to look after them in old age. it’s what my mother did to me. They regularly ask me for money and I am getting further and further away from them. My aunt told me once she inquired as to my mother’s retirement savings and her reply was apparently, “Oh, Karen will be a famous author and take care of me.” Well my books make me virtually no money, mom! Who’s laughing now?! I talked about this Texas Rangers World Series 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this exact idea in my death and dying psych class. I honestly don’t know if I’ll take care of my parents, I barely speak to them.

Texas Rangers World Series 2023 Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Yeah I mean if I can afford it on old age, why stay in my own home doing fuck all when I can’t even live independently? So I can burden my kids – who will have their own adult lives and possibly their own kids – to become full time caretakers? It’s one thing to go visit grandpa a few times a week, it’s another when you literally need to be taken care of. Just send me to old people camp and I’ll get to meet some new friends. My mum lives interstate and a few years back I told her to make sure she is preparing for her retirement because as much as I love her I’m not uplifting my life to move to look after her just because I’m the Texas Rangers World Series 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this oldest. She was all for that. Told me that she would prefer being put in a home where I can visit. Her mother lives with them (out of 7 kids, none of them wanted to get involved) and mum is stick of it, she can’t do anything, they can’t have a break, can’t go on holidays, grandma guilts them about everything, they have lots of medical appointments to take her to or people coming to see her. Their whole life is about this old lady that flat refuses to go to a retirement home and makes their lives boring. Plus my grandma is a bitch.
