My spouse makes a good point: if said by two expectant females or NB/gay/trans/etc equivalents, this is totally accurate! Nope. I’m old school. My husband was incredibly supportive, but he didn’t go through any of the actual pregnancy experiences.. he just supported me while I went through them.

You wouldn’t say “we have cancer” just because you support your spouse through their experiences and attend all doctors appointments.
