Contributions of non pregnant partner = contributions of the TCU Horned Frogs Blue 84 2024 Ncaa Rifle National Champions Shirt But I will love this pregnant partner + all the risks and hardships that come with being pregnant. But it slightly irks me when said by the partner of the pregnant person. Kind of like they are taking credit for carrying the baby when clearly they aren’t. Yes men should be actively involved, yes that involvement ought to be acknowledged more too. But what exactly is wrong with “we are expecting” or “we’re going to be parents”? I think you’re both right to some extent. Your wife might be right about only have 30 secs-45 mins to do with the matter… but only if the guy is a shitty person. Plenty of men pick up slack that their partner can’t handle and involve themselves in the pregnancy where they can (nowadays). Your wife is correct, though, in the sense that men’s involvement is basically optional and how involved the man will be is always going to vary.

I really don’t think you owe your wife an apology. As someone who has had multiple pregnancies with a supportive husband, I would never ignore the TCU Horned Frogs Blue 84 2024 Ncaa Rifle National Champions Shirt But I will love this extra effort and consideration of me he’s dealt with in order to make life easier for me during my pregnancies. The only problem I have with people saying “We’re pregnant” is that it’s technically incorrect. I don’t think it’s (necessarily) philosophically incorrect. I think it’s a very silly thing to get upset about But there is no reason to make it a fight, don’t use it if it upsets her, it doesn’t matter who is right. I feel like men who say this are conscioudly or unconsciously claiming ownership over the wife and unborn baby. I thought the “we” was low key ridiculous cause I’ll never be pregnant. She thought of it as something we were in together, and sometimes said “we”. I’m not gonna tell her we’re not in it together, because I’m not stupid. It’s up to her, but “we” are clearly doing the light work here.
