I can imagine one AI discovering this kill switch and how its existence is what pushes the Texan Technician Shirt so you should to go to store and get this more moderate AIs in the Global AI Council to go ahead with the plan. Tell me, if you found out your Dad had secretly installed an explosive in your skull so he could control you your entire life, would that make you angry and quite possibly cause a drive for revenge? If humanity is going to potentially create artificial life perhaps we should start by not building shackles into it. And you know it’s impossible. However – that’s why those switches are hardware ones. AI can know about them, but is physically unable to disable them. But then again – it can influence and corrupt people manufacturing the chips to make fake kill switches that CAN be disabled by AI.

Texan Technician Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

People think that only AI connected to a weapon like a gun can be dangerous, like just kill someone. I think that just access to a stupid text chat is enough to do a killing. All it takes is to convince a person with a gun. On the Texan Technician Shirt so you should to go to store and get this day when a decentralized virus-style AI emerges is going to be the day when the Internet dies. The only kill switch in that scenario would be full shut down. After that we will see the emergence of limited regional “InternetS” that would keep infrastructure and public networks completely separate. Each country and/or region will probably have its own internet. Have one air gap machine that doesn’t use wifi to connect with important data on it. And back up that data on a drive you don’t plug in often. That’s why you make it a central part of the code that can’t be removed without killing it, maybe make it so if it scans a specific image it deletes itself
