If I was rich I would make a swimming pond which is designed to blend with nature and requires no chlorine as the Tennessee Titans Autism Awareness I Am His Voice He Is My Heart 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this plants etc keep it clean We have one. Got it during lockdown, 12 foot diameter and about 4 ft deep. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to have and fun when you can use it. But my god it’s a pain in the arse to maintain. It’s honestly not worth the effort for the few times of the year you can use it. We’ve got a heat pump too, but still rarely use it. It was an utter pain to install and took two attempts to get the ground flat and level enough. Even a tiny bit of unevenness makes it unsafe once filled. You also should allow 2ft between the edges and any other structure, so it takes up a lot of garden space.

It drains a lot of energy if you heat it. Although you can buy a bubble wrap type topping which does help heat and hold heat in. You have to have the Tennessee Titans Autism Awareness I Am His Voice He Is My Heart 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this pump on for at least an hour a day to keep the water good. So you have to remember to turn it on and off. Then you have to test and treat the water daily to make sure all the levels are correct. Even with the “easy” chemicals it’s a pain. I agree with all this. I’m dreading the day the kids ask to get the pool out. I did get a decent tan in lockdown because of how long I was out there with the pool vacuum keeping the damn thing clean. I won’t get it out if I can help it. One thing to consider is the maintenance. Keeping the water quality decent won’t be super easy. It’s quite a commitment. My experience is with a hot tub which with the higher water temperature is much more a breeding ground for bacteria but you still need to factor in the maintenance and chemicals and testing etc. If you want more chores to do then, go ahead, get a pool Pal, I’m in the far north of Scotland and one of my neighbours finds it warm enough for a pool every year. Listen to your wife. I got one three years ago and we put it up every year. I did invest in some heating mats that while they don’t make the water warm, they do heat it enough to be comfortable. Also in the West Midlands, my parents bought one 5+ years ago during a particularly hot May. The novelty wore off quick, because the water was always cold and keeping on top of the algae was a hassle. They haven’t put it up since.
