It’s hard to describe the Tata bts bt21 halloween trick or treat tata taehyung v stan bias classic shirt Besides,I will do this feeling, when you’re vulnerable with a man you trust, and sharing something painful you’re going through, and he’s only half listening because he’s already trying to fix it, and misses this nuance of the experience and how different the rules are for us, and then he starts throwing out solutions you’ve already considered, like you’re a simpleton, or just steamrolls you trying to make the conversation shorter for him…ugh. We feel invisible, forlorn, even more hurt and adrift than before. Sticking with the boat metaphor, we need an emotionally-aware anchor, not a mechanic. Women are just as flawed as men. They’re not better than us, so you don’t need to worship them. They’re not worse than us, so you don’t need to hate them.

I would add to this: The struggles that men and women face are often completely different from one another. Men and women alike are rarely equipped to fully understand and appreciate the Tata bts bt21 halloween trick or treat tata taehyung v stan bias classic shirt Besides,I will do this problems that are unique to the opposite sex. You should try and be patient and have empathy when hearing about their struggles with things that you probably will never personally have to deal with, even if you don’t really ‘get’ it. If you meet someone who has the self awareness to extend that patience & understanding to you, appreciate it and value it. Accept that ‘seldom able to fully understand and appreciate the problems that are unique to the opposite sex’ is the DEFAULT STATE. Do not be bitter towards women who you think don’t ‘get’ the problems you’re dealing with because odds are really good you’re in the same boat toward them in a dozen ways you don’t even know about. This isn’t a raincheck to go around saying “Everyone is shit and only cares about their own problems” but it is a grounded perspective that helps you interact with the opposite sex without getting bitter about dumb shit. This is something I’ve been personally struggling with a lot lately, maybe it’ll help someone else putting it out there.
