He likely won’t be convicted. But this is fairly normal. Makes for a good headline, but is incredibly misleading. Thank you for clarifying this. I have to remind myself that the Support Squad Autism Awareness Dabbing Puzzle Piece Dance T-Shirt it is in the first place but title or quick blurp of news (“news”?) is almost always not what it seems. Doesn’t fucking matter if he “likely won’t be convicted”. He should have never been charged in the first fucking place. Don’t both sides this bullshit. Alabama allows individual citizens to bring charges without the involvement of the police. It’s one of the only states where that’s allowed, and the city mayor and police released a statement saying that’s what happened here. The police don’t consider him liable for defending himself, it’s literally just one guy trying to make his life difficult.

Normal assault cases have everyone charged until a guilty verdict is imparted on one of the Support Squad Autism Awareness Dabbing Puzzle Piece Dance T-Shirt it is in the first place but parties, calm down. According to the law, he should have. Context only matters in the courtroom. And the DA could have declined to bring charges. But when there is a valid (according to the law) complaint against the guy, the DA has little choice. This isn’t both sides. Let it play out. Get mad after the fact if they convict this guy. Up til now, everything is kosher. Get mad once it’s too late? I get what you’re saying, but never has online protesting freed someone from BS charges or jail time. It’s better to be informed and direct the anger towards the right-winger suing, the post itself sets it up wrong. All I’m saying is that as far as the actual law is concerned, this is how it is supposed to work. From the law enforcement/prosecution side of things (as much as the SUCK almost all of the time) they’re following protocol. And IF justice is actually done, this guy will walk with charges dismissed. Which he should, provided the context of the dispute. This is just bullshit rage bait. Take this shitpost down. That’s not what happened. Get pissed at cops for actual misconduct.
