I thought I would rather be able to say I left than say I was fired. They also loosely implied that I would only get decent recommendations if I resigned. Money isnt just about severence pay. Resigning eliminates any legal ground for wrongful termination case via labor board. Sometimes they do actually take these things seriously Okay that makes sense. I don’t really see anything wrong with that unless they actually wrongfully terminate someone and then force them to resign
