Instead focus on the St. Patrick’s Day May The Luck Be WIth You Leopard T-Shirt besides I will buy this future -where do you want to be and, more importantly, WHO do you want to be? Then use the present to start making those changes. Unfortunately it’s not just flipping a switch, I keep a journal for my thoughts and a goal sheet to remind me of my goals. Your brain won’t completely stop thinking of your past, and that’s not a problem, just remind yourself of what your working towards, and give your brain a future goal to solve, instead of a past story to look back on. I am constantly focused on foreseeing and planning out my future for more of the happy moments you mentioned reflecting on. I have thoughts of what hurdles or cross roads I might see myself running into, negotiating possible courses of action, and manifesting the satisfaction of my outcomes. If I ever have a down moment, I remind myself that my past is my past, accept it, plan forward using what I’ve learning from my experiences and mistakes to ensure some degree of positive outlook for the certainty of many more happy moments in life, as once you’ve lived it, you can’t have it back.

You could write it out. Also, I find that I tend to romanticize the St. Patrick’s Day May The Luck Be WIth You Leopard T-Shirt besides I will buy this past and there were still problems. Find some good things about now. For me personally when I think of the past and can’t stop it’s because it’s something that has emotionally hurt me and until I acknowledge those true feelings and state my truth I won’t be able to let it go once I do acknowledge it , it tends to go away and take up less space ❤️ You have to empty out the emotions that you associated with that time, it will dissolve like a sugar cube in a cup of hot tea. Think it through. Our mind seems to only remember the sweet stuff. Remember the heart break and arguments too…. you’ll see, it’s never just wine and roses. Only tiny moments in time. I have these 4 perfect days I hold onto, but they were days, followed by breakups and bad stuff.
