Your average American views prisoners as “thugs” and “animals” and prays for them all to beat and rape each other to death in prison. Not really a surprise that crime and recidivism rates are much higher in America. The nations of the Sparkle Sunflower I Love Someone With Sarcoma Awareness T-Shirt and I will buy this world should view America as a case study of what NOT to do regarding crime and punishment. You’re still a prisoner. You can’t leave. You’re just being rehabilitated instead of treated like animal. Their system works If you get caught, you will be sent to prison where you get free education and housing and can finish your PhD without interruption. Get ready to be inundated with questions from Amazon employees in the United States about how to get arrested in Norway. For those of you wondering why the US doesn’t do this it is simple. Thug culture; gang culture. It is sad to say but it is the truth. Thug culture in the US is celebrated by a lot of people and those that cannot escape it become part of it. If we disown thug culture I think we make the prison system an actual rehabilitation place to help the criminals. Gee almost like the entire point is supposed to be rehabilitation instead of straight up for-profit bad living conditions. I used to be a correctional officer. In America, they’d break all that shit down and start a fire. And then attack anyone who came to put it out.

Sparkle Sunflower I Love Someone With Sarcoma Awareness T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

It’s interesting because in the Sparkle Sunflower I Love Someone With Sarcoma Awareness T-Shirt and I will buy this US they make the prisons really awful so that when (and if) you ever get out you know for sure it’s not a place you’ll ever want to return to. The thought of prison has kept a lot of people away from a life of crime. But this Norwegian prison cell is actually looking pretty nice. It almost makes you wonder if some people commit crimes knowing what kind of conditions they’ll be in when they get caught. If the conditions are better than their current situation, it suddenly becomes not a bad option. Seems like the type of place a person could address the issues that led them to crime, possibly create an image of a better future, and begin building towards that future This pops up every few weeks. It’s either Norwegian, Finnish or another Nordic prison, leading ppl to believe all cells look like this. Which is very, very wrong. Nor does it mention that ≈30% of our prison population is made up of foreigners; serious narcotics and violence offenders who serve a short and cushy time.
