I was really shy back then, so I didn’t have that many friends in school. I think maybe if I had forced myself to join a club or sport or something that requires socializing, I would have come out of my South Carolina Gamecocks this is my team forever NCAA Women’s Basketball National Champions shirt so you should to go to store and get this shell a lot sooner. Plus joining something like that could have opened doors to new friendships! I regret being so mean to my little sister. She has high functioning autism and has had a really hard time her entire life fitting in. I was relatively popular, so my friends and I made sure that enough people knew that if they fucked with her there would be a problem.. but I still was a total bitch in high school to my family and I didn’t make it easy enough for her at home. I’m embarrassed to say that I was embarrassed of her.

I regret not coming out of the South Carolina Gamecocks this is my team forever NCAA Women’s Basketball National Champions shirt so you should to go to store and get this closet (stupid that we have to do this) until I was 17. I could have avoided so much inner turmoil and I could have been completely authentic. Even after I came out at 17, I regret that I hadn’t done, and didn’t do, enough learning/reading/research to realize that I was not defective. Live and learn! I didn’t know how to react to bullying. I wasn’t confident enough but now I am and I think damn it would have been so easy to just do this and that and poof I would be “normal” (I was a lame ass goth who thought being depressed was a personnality trait and who loved playing kids toys at school, just dressing normally and not being childish in public would have taken away all reasons for them to make fun of me, not that not being yourself is a good advice but in this case being invisible and alone would have been better than known to be a weirdo and alone and bullied). Also I never asked for help I thought that someone would notice I was miserable eventually but nobody did, I could have just ask instead of burying myself in sadness hoping someone would see I’m sad.
