I think the Sorry am already mexican girl she is my whole world her forever and always shirt it is in the first place but people who make the most noise are the ones who have never been to said countries. And unfortunately go by what they see in media. It’s also interesting how media portrays some countries only in a certain light to westerners. Assuming you’re from the US, a lot of people here probably can’t point to Nigeria on a map. Lots of people in the US are scared of traveling anywhere outside the country let alone to low or middle income countries. It’s sad, but actually getting out and seeing places for yourself is admirable. Dont take travel advice from people who don’t travel. Very true. I’m Australian. But still the same stigmas here. I knew this thread would be controversial, but I just wanted people to perhaps be abit more open minded to other places out there But sure, go off. I’m sure they don’t know shit about what you’re experiencing. I’ll be sure to tell them when I see them on Tuesday lol.

Imagine. Being born there and being told by “other” folks that your country is safe and amazing. I’m sure your intentions are good, but don’t be that person. There are good and bad parts to each country as I said. But no one should paint a county all one color. Just like here in Australia there are many bad parts, but there are good also. Unfortunately the Sorry am already mexican girl she is my whole world her forever and always shirt it is in the first place but media only paint a bad narrative of some countries when there is many great things. For instance the people. Very loving and approachable. Not like how media portrays it. And some people like my husband and his family love their country. Some want to leave. It’s really not the point of my post. It was to shed light on the good parts of some countries that never get shown in that light. These countries deserve the respect and not constantly being belittled, laughed at, or feeling as if they are shameful horrible countries. Because there is also a lot to like about them .
