Your statista.com link says, “In February 2021, the Sons Of Lemay Sac Trained Killer Shirt What’s more,I will buy this average monthly rent for an apartment in the United States was 1,124 U.S. dollars. During the observation period, rents increased for all apartment types.” Where are you getting the average 1 bedroom apartment is $1711? Your source link doesn’t even say that. I live in Chicago, and your “average” rent is higher than the average in Chicago according to apartment renting websites. Average rent for a 1 bedroom in Chicago is $1630. There’s no way that rent stat is accurate. Statista is frequently inaccurate, and even many of the rental sites that release these kinds of reports are inaccurate. I used to run one, all they do is look at their current inventory, which is skewed toward large expensive property management buildings that pay them for leads. They release these stats as a source of PR, they’re not trying for accuracy when large outrageous numbers get people more worked up and clicking. If they give any shit at all about accuracy, they’d include eg Craigslist, and other sources that had more mom-and-pop landlords. If they REALLY wanted to be accurate, they’d do a broad survey of renters, because then they’d get the people who hadn’t moved in a while because their rent was too good, which is especially the case for those in rent controlled buildings and the like.

$1700 a month??? You’re out of your mind. Maybe true in NYC, DC, and San Francisco but that is absolutely not the Sons Of Lemay Sac Trained Killer Shirt What’s more,I will buy this norm. In small towns you can find a 1 bedroom for $400. This is also I feel like severely skewed by places were it cost more to rent a 1bd/bt than it does to rent a house. I have kived in four major cities and my rent was always under 800 a month for a 1 bedroom. You don’t HAVE to live in NYC or San Francisco. Move to one of the other 1000s of affordable cities people. Gtfo out of those overpriced hell holes. AZ, TN, FL, and IN. I really am baffled. Only really nice apartments were that much. The bad parts of town were way cheaper. Even somewhat undesirable cities like Salt Lake City are getting to an average of ~$1300/month for a 1 bedroom. So yeah, things are getting high in the last few years even outside of those bigger cities. The minimum wage is the lowest you can be paid. Why are you comparing the lowest wages to the averages cost of rent? The average person makes more than minimum wage. I was always taught and told a third, so it would bright an expected hourly wage down to like 32 dollars. But point still stands. I own a half million dollar house in a major metro area and my mortgage, taxes and insurance are less than $1,700/mo. If you’re paying more than that for a 1 bedroom apartment I’d suggest you move to a more affordable area.
