Yeah like most comments are basically saying it’s not gen z enough, wide denim mom jeans and lingerie is not fashion it’s fad. What on earth is the point of saying you don’t like lingerie as clothing under a post where someone is trying to style lingerie as clothing. Purely logically, 90% of young women wear more revealing bikinis at the beach? Like… if you wore a normal bikini top and some kind of half transparent beach cover up you’d get the same level of revealing and noone would bat an eye? I think you look great! At the very most I would maybe point out that the knit fabric of the cardigan kinda clashes with the lace maybe. I would agree that the suggestions of other people with a blazor and fitted black pants would probably also look great. Ya I’m confused by these comments. She didn’t ask if it was underwear or lingerie etc, but it almost seems like people are shaming her about it?? There’s literally no law that says she cannot wear this. Also she asked about the cardigan choice and people are critiquing the whole outfit…that’s not what she asked lol. I think the light jeans are a no go with this fitted top. Ofc fashion rules are meant to be broken, but personally, I think it would look better with dark flare jeans. You can wear either cardigans and it would look good. And if you wanted to be super trendy you could wear flats instead of sneakers. But sneakers still work with flare jeans.

I agree that it definitely gives a vibe of underwear, but that’s fine because it’s not indecent at all. Lean into the sex appeal of the top. Despite what everyone else is saying I think this is a cute outfit. Both cardigans are super cute but I like the beige one better. Although I do agree that this outfit would look better with baggy jeans rather than ripped skinny jeans I think it looks very 2019 I would just not wear lingerie outside anymore lol there was a short period where you’d see people out in this but thankfully that trend stopped Y’all are annoying of course this looks like lingerie that is the point. And it looks cute. I would definitely wear that with less baggy outerwear (or none at all) and darker pants. If the body suit is the highlight you need to accentuate it, not try to hide it. Looks some outfits up on Pinterest. And listen I’ve never seen this subreddit steer people in the correct way when it comes to fashion choices. Maybe try r/oldhagfashion?
