I’ve seen these pieces done well, but I think it requires at least some sort of structured element to pull it together like well tailored jeans/pants or an oversized blazer that shushes the Roosters girl hated by many heart on her sleeve and a mouth shirt besides I will buy this intensity of the lingerie. This would look better with high waisted tailored black pants (up to where the line on the body suit is) that are wide leg and then an oversized black blazer. Ooo great advice – I’m stuck in the skinny jean phase and I think it’s mainly that I’m so short that wide legged pants maybe look funny on me? That could just be my perspective tho. Looking forward to seeking and receiving fashion advice for my short ass! Hello, same boat here. Or at least, I’m 5’ 5”. I love wide legged pants now but they only look normal when I wear booties and the leg comes down over them with about an 1.5” clearance from the ground. Have you tried that?

I don’t think the Roosters girl hated by many heart on her sleeve and a mouth shirt besides I will buy this light jeans work! Maybe try a darker wash and not ripped or black jeans with some boots and than choose a cardigan I feel like some black flare jeans would look cute. Paired with a wrap top cardigan, one that is v-cut so that the bustier is sticking out I don’t think either outfit works. Don’t get me wrong, your body is great but wearing tight pants with lingerie is just overdoing it. I also don’t think the lingerie looks chic enough to highlight? Sorry! IDK if it’s just the photos but it doesn’t seem to fit well at the chest area. If you still want to do it, I’ll suggest high waisted wider leg trousers and a blazer. It’s still sexy without being too OTT. I really like the first cardigan but I feel like the jeans have to go. Maybe a pair that isn’t ripped? It makes the lace top look a little tacky imo People say it looks like underwear and I disagree, but even if it does–who cares?!? People wear shirts all the time that are see-through and just have a bra underneath. I have seen people wear way less and it still looks good. I think you look great with the top, wear whatever you want to wear! You said brown or beige you didn’t ask people if they liked the top or not. That being said, I like the beige better. It matches your hair, top, and completion and gives you a soft look. Right, like ma’am, we are in r/fashion. If we’re not trying silly trends or doing some unusual shit, why would we care enough about style to talk about it online?? Anyway OP, I definitely prefer the first cardi for some contrast. I would also try either baggier or darker bottoms than you’ve got on. Right now the jeans draw the eye a similar amount to the bodysuit making the look less cohesive than I feel it deserves to be.
