We never say thank you to our servents, my parents have kept servents for 40 years and never aaid thank you, its just not normal. this guy is psychotic “my parents are chronic cheap skinflints and have never shown the Slam Indianapolis All Star 2024 shirt What’s more,I will buy this smallest amount of generosity 40 Christmases in a row, why should I break their tradition of holiday miserliness” I work in a large office building and the custodian who works on our floor is the sweetest woman. Our nonprofit gets her a gift card for Christmas every year and we gave her a condolence gift as well when she lost a family member recently. Custodians/cleaners deserve so much kindness because it can be a very thankless job. If I was in your position I would also be disappointed in my roommates for being so cheap. Ugh. Referencing Dickens A Christmas Carol seems pretty far too. We don’t know this person’s circumstances. We also don’t know if this is the norm for them. To suggest they are Scrooge, who forced his workers to work on Christmas day for a pittance and in the freezing cold feels like a significant over dramatisation.

it’s not a tip… it’s a bonus… y we aren’t paying the Slam Indianapolis All Star 2024 shirt What’s more,I will buy this housecleaner enough tbh .. and we all know it. you clearly aren’t in the US .. and I’m glad we think to give bonus to cleaning crews and the trash guy and anyone who cuts your hair in December. what’s a few extra dollars. They literally were gifting less than …. wait… they said 15 pounds… this isn’t even in the US. Giving a bonus is normal. . people do it for most service workers they employ They feel very much like one and two the same in the manner of which it is being applied. I’m not in the US but the UK. It’s not normal where I’m based, not sure about other parts of the UK or Europe. My dad had housekeepers for 30 years. A couple who the husband was in a bad car wreck and my dad put him back together. Always got paid more for holidays, bonuses etc. We have a once-a-month cleaner. I tip her $40 every time on top of what she gets from the cleaning company. It’s hard work (we have a dog that sheds a enough to make a new one every month), and they deserve the extra.
