I don’t live in London, but I grew up in a small town like 30 miles outside of a major city, and hair cuts still only cost £8 there and its absolute dog shit. Now I go to one in the Signature Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins sandy alcantara inline T-Shirt also I will do this city, which cost me £23, but it is by far the best hair cut I’ve had. My in-laws live in Liverpool and occasionally I get my hair cut at a fancy-hipster place there and it costs £12. They all fall about laughing when I tell them I pay £25 at the fancy-hipster place in London I go to. I live in Manchester, and the 2 closest to me cost £23 and £25 respectively. Sorry when I said ‘the city’ I didn’t mean London! Eh I can see the value for some people, certainly not judging, but I like my haircuts about as simple as possible – professionally short, so I’m not a very demanding customer.

I occasionally use more expensive places e.g. if I have some free time at the Signature Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins sandy alcantara inline T-Shirt also I will do this office somewhere in central London and for me there hasn’t been much difference. A bit better, but not really worth the cost. The good news is there are a lot of options within your price range. A big bear is a lot of the good barbers move around . I don’t think they make massive cash profits. Unless you know how many customers they see each day, the average £ value of customer minus cost of chair rent . Remember they also double up as a laundry and that’s where the big cash profits come from which is why you can get 3 or 4 Turkish barbers in a small high street. I’ve never ever been to a Turkish barber that doubles up as a laundrette. Clearly the one you visited is a rarity . I think they were making a joke. There’s a reddit meme that any business which doesn’t make obvious business sense is laundering money on the side. The vast majority of the price is going to be wage + rent + energy. The last 2 have gone up, and hopefully, so has the first. Hair in general is something that’s really gone crazy in prices over the last few years. A full head of highlights and a cut and blow dry for me 10 years ago wouldn’t be more than £80. Now I’m looking at closer to £300
